Job details

CLIENT WILL CONSIDER A TRAVELER WITH A PENDING MA RADIOLOGY LICENSE. LICENSE MUST BE IN PROCESS AT PROFILE UPLOAD AND TRAVELER MUST HAVE LICENSE IN HAND IN ORDER TO BEGIN ASSIGNMENT. GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0. Ratio: Approximately 9 patients/shift. Will always work with another Tech Aide or another MRI Tech/Traveler will never work solo. After midnight the department is covered by call. Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). Traveler must be willing to work one of the following: Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after. 8hrs non-billable orientation.

Job requirements

2 Years CURRENT MRI experience
ARRT (MR) Certification - Required
GE Equipment experience - Required
Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
Must be willing to take call as needed

Traveler must be willing to work one of the following: Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after. 8hrs non-billable orientation.

Additional Details

COVID VACCINATION (dose date on or after 10/3/23) NOW REQUIRED FOR THIS HEALTH SYSTEM. IF APPROVED BY HEALTH SYSTEM TRAVELER WILL WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON SITE.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
