Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT First Time Travelers
Skills: Scrub, Monitor, PA Lines and Telemetry, Structural Heart & TAVR Experience
*Cath Lab Procedure Experience: Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left & Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablader
Certs: ACLS, BLS, must have at least one: RCIS OR ARRT
Preferred Skills: Circulate, IV Start, Conscious Sedation
*Cath Lab Procedure Experience: Watchman Procedures, Septal Closure, Ablations, Coil Embolization, Filter Placement
*EKG Settings & Experience: Rhythm Interpretation

Experience with Scrub, Monitor, PA Lines and Telemetry, Structural Heart & TAVR
Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left & Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablader procedure experience
ACLS, BLS Certification
One of the following certifications required: RCIS OR ARRT

Schedule information

TARGET RATIOS: 3 Rooms
SHIFT: 40 HOURS
CONTRACTS: 13+ weeks up to March 15, 2025
10 HR DAYS 4 x 10 HOUR DAYS 07:00 - 17:30; Monday-Friday
Call Requirement: With Callback and Weekend Call Required
Float Requirement: Floating could be required but would be rare
Weekend Requirement: With Callback and Weekend Call Required
SCHEDULING TYPE: 10 Hour Shifts, Monday - Friday

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
