- BLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support, REQUIRED for this role
- NIHSS - NIH Stroke Scale Certification
Certification details
- because of the current needs on our floor, they will likely be asked to rotate in as a PST, and will be required to float when necessary
- All travelers are required to work two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day) based on facility policy
- Calling out on a holiday may result in immediate termination
- Travelers are expected to not request time off during the period of December 26 – 31
- Must have at least one year’s experience with Epic EMR
- Candidates would have strong Cardiac Tele Experience as well as required to have BLS/ACLS/NIHSS - EPIC experience
- Shift: 3 x 12 hr - 36 hrs
- Locals accepted: YES if over 100 miles or 50 miles for Night shift
- Pending License accepted: No
- RTO Restrictions: ALL RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility's needs
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
- Experience: 1+ yr

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
