Job requirements

A PT that is efficient, so no one that I will have to coddle or teach the ropes to from a new grad perspective.
A person who is willing to treat in an inpatient rehab unit inside the hospital...90% of work will be on the unit. The other 10% will be in an ortho unit close to the IRF and maybe some med surgical floors.
The PT is expected to take 4 pts on IRF and complete documentation in 8 hrs.
We need 22 units per 8 hour day.

Schedule information

The job is mainly 8-5 M-F.
We can flex some weekends if interested and it is a win/win for the therapist and our facility.

Unit specific information

The majority of work will be in an inpatient rehab unit inside the hospital.
A smaller portion of the job may include working in an ortho unit close to the IRF and possibly some med surgical floors.

Additional Details

BLS certification
We have a 6 man PT team that the PT will be a part of, so there will be other therapists.
We staff SLP and OT as well.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
