    Certification details
  • EKG Exam required with a score of 90% or higher, and only 2 attempts are allowed.
  • Unit Specific Checklist to be uploaded by our Ascension unit leader within a week.
  • Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation needed.
    Job details
  • RN Telemetry I position available.
  • Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Implements and monitors patient care plans.
  • Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
    Job requirements
  • Must be AHA BLS and ACLS certified.
  • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
  • Completed prior to start and updated every 3 years for Ascension Color Vision.
  • HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics certifications required.
  • NIH Certification required.
    Unit specific information
  • Ascension Nova StatStrip training required.
  • Annual Ascension Core Competencies checklist/testing.
    Additional Details
  • Michigan hospitals need their licensure verified through LARA not NURSYs but you will still upload here.
  • Nursys quick confirm verifications should be completed for all APRN, RN’s and LPN/LVNs.
  • Nursys should be used to review ALL license activity in all states, not just the state of placement.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
