- ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Must be AHA)
- State Licensure as a Registered Nurse
- NIH Certification (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) - Since the specialty is RN ICU and there is no indication that the facility specializes in stroke care, this listing assumes NIH Stroke is relevant due to potential critical care of stroke patients
- Join our family of highly skilled & dedicated nurses. Our staff is trained in caring for critically ill trauma, neuro & surgical patients. 24 Bed Critical Care Unit.
- We handle cases involving blunt force and penetrating injuries, including abdominal, maxillofacial, orthopedic, and thoracic trauma.
- Our neuro care includes ischemic & hemorrhagic strokes, aneurysms, brain tumors, seizures, traumatic brain & spinal cord injuries.
- We also specialize in complex spine and abdominal surgeries, as well as head and neck procedures, and specialty OB/GYN cases.
- Our advanced procedures include hemodynamic monitoring, transfusions, ICP monitoring, brain tissue oxygenation, ventricular drains, and continuous dialysis.

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
