Job details

This therapist performs basic competencies within orientation and provides satisfactory respiratory therapy with minimum supervision.
What You Will Do - Mechanical ventilation - Medicated aerosol delivery - Airway clearance therapy - Patient monitoring - Oxygen and humidity therapy - Special procedures (CPR, specialty gases, bronchoscopy, transport, etc.)
Additional Responsibilities - Performs other duties as assigned. - Complies with all policies and standards.
For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.

Internal Education - Associate's Degree in Respiratory (Required) or - Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory (Required)
Licenses and Certifications - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with license to practice in Ohio Upon Hire (Required)

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
