Schedule information

Shift: 6:30pm-7a (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)

Unit specific information

Common Diagnosis - Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Resp: COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, post op
Specialty Equipment-Temp pacer, Chest tubes, A lines, Bipap, Neptune Vapo
Required drips & Medications -Insulin, Cardizem, and Heparin, Nitro, Cleviprex, Precedex, Dopamine, Amiodarone, Cardene, Dobutrex, Neo all required – exception for 1-2 if all others present/competent, just note in your notes so manager can make decision based on what skills are needed most at that time
Vents: Yes-chronic vents -unable to wean- RT to assist

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
