Job details

Specialty: MRI Tech
General outpatient MRI scans. No procedures and no conscious sedations
MUST have IV skills
Average of 7 or 8 scans a day
Use of EPIC and PACS- Sectra for EMR & PACS
Operates Philips, Toshiba equipment

Job requirements

Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (MRI)
Experience or 'Must have' skills: IV skills

Schedule information

Shifts variable between 0730-2130 M-F
Optional weekend work
No call requirement
No holiday requirement
4/10s, Thurs-Sun 0715-1745 (Manager open to discuss 2 different weekdays but Sat/Sun is a MUST)

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
