Description

The registered nurse will perform direct patient/resident care and delegation to patient care technicians in providing care and comfort to the residents. Knowledge and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines relating to facility care will be maintained. This position has basic medical/surgical knowledge to care for general surgical and orthopedic surgical patients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(10%)* Processes physician/provider orders and performs physician-ordered care accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
(10%)* Follows up regarding medication changes and order clarifications.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Travelers for this position need to be okay floating between 2 MyMichigan hospitals in Midland and in Saginaw (32 miles apart.) The location being applied for will be the main assigned site, but may be asked to float to the other hospital for critical staffing support. The intention from MyMichigan is that they will not float at all.

2 years of Med Surg Experience - Required
Oncology Experience - Required
BLS & ACLS (AHA) - Required
Travel Experience - Highly Preferred
Epic Experience - Preferred

Work History
Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years
Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)
