Description
75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - Please only submit candidates that area aware of
their submission to our facility. Please do not allow candidates to contact
facility. Please only submit candidates with an active NM or compact license. Please
note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be
considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not
be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. Traveler must not permanently reside within a 75 mile radius from facility.
13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Traveler must provide or pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia Assessment (BCA) exam prior to or during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.
SHIFTS: 12 hour Day shift position - start time 0700- 3 Weekend shifts in a 4 week scheduling period - Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations
within 20 miles of permanent assigned location and to all areas in which they
are trained, including the ED and alternate holding areas to care for
appropriate patients, including PresNow ED/UC (freestanding urgent/emergent
care facilities)
ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40
total hours, and includes EPIC training.
SCRUBS: required and not provided by the
facility.

2. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. 3. State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico. 4. ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED/AGENCY SUSPENED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
