**Overflow unit for winter census**

RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.


REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 year required
Traveler Experience required: No, unit accepts 1st time travelers.
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: MS/tele experience required, telemetry experience preferred, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required, use of rapid response teams required, blood product administration required, central line care/management required, peripheral line care/management required, nasal cannula required, non-invasive airway management required, isolation precautions required
Certs: BLS and NIH required.

Target Ratios: 1:7
Shift: 12hr Nights (18:45-07:15) Tues-Thurs schedule
36hrs
Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!
RTO: 7 days MAX (For AYA OFFER units only, remove if client offer) [IF an 8 week contract, 4 days MAX; if a 26 week contract then 13 days MAX]
Call Requirement: None
Float Requirement: Floating as needed to similar units.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required.

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: General surgery and medical tele cardiac telemetry/medical telemetry. Various diagnosis requiring either medical intervention or surgical procedures, including medical tele patients. Overflow for winter census.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: none
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC (preferred)
SCHEDULING TYPE: Other
UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 hours
Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
