Job Title: Travel RN - Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location: San Luis Obispo, CA
Weekly Rate: $3,723/36 hours
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM); 36 or 48 hours per week
Job Summary:
Join our dedicated team as a Travel RN in Labor & Delivery, where you'll deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process. You'll supervise and direct nursing staff, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze patient health data to develop individualized care plans.
- Implement and coordinate care delivery while evaluating patient progress toward established goals.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the proper functioning of healthcare teams.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; acute care experience is a plus.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Current RN licensure in California (required)
- AWHONN certification (required)
- CPR/BLS certification (required)
