Surgical Technologist 2 Weekend Premium
Inova Fairfax Medical Center is looking for a dedicated Surgical Technologist 2 to join the OR Tower team. This role will be full-time hour Day Shift, working every weekend. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible

Job Responsibilities:
- The Surgical Technologist 2 demonstrates advanced knowledge and practice in the role of the first scrub.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of aseptic and surgical technique.
- Demonstrates responsible behavior as a healthcare professional.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of anatomy and is able to anticipate the required instrumentation for each step of a surgical procedure.
- Provides working knowledge of powered instrumentation, video equipment, microscopes, and complex instrumentation, equipment. Assists in the evaluation of new products and equipment.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements for Consideration:
- Work Schedule: Full-time 12-hour Day Shift: every weekend
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 1 Year Surg Tech experience or equivalent
- Certification: Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required upon start.
- License: Registered Surgical Technologist required upon start
