Inova is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Department to help expand our services in the Eastern Region of Northern Virginia.
We are opening a brand-new state-of-the-art health care facility in Alexandria, VA. Located in the Potomac Yard neighborhood is an outpatient facility that will include a full-service emergency room, ambulatory surgery, imaging services, primary care and other medical offices.

Schedule: Fulltime, Evening shift. Three 12 hr shifts per week; 11am – 11pm (with the ability to do 1pm-1am shifts when needed)

As an Inova Nurse you will:
- Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
- Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
- Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
- Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.
Requirements:
Requires a minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in an emergency care setting.
- Strongly prefer 2 years plus of ED RN experience
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others
- Proficient computer skills required.
