Job Responsibilities:
- The Perioperative Support Specialist 2 assists with patient care while retrieving and delivering requested supplies, instruments and equipment to the operating rooms as directed by the surgical team.
- This role demonstrates professional and advanced knowledge of aseptic surgical technique and surgical procedures.
- To help achieve our mission, this role communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others while maintaining respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines.
- Demonstrates responsibility for self-development.
- Provides equipment support for operating room staff and surgeons before and/or during the operative procedures to avoid procedure and turnover delays.

Position Requirements:
- Certification - Basic Life Support Upon Start
- Licensure –
- Experience - 2 Healthcare/Hospitality Recent Hospital experience and/or previous surgical services experience.
- Education - High School or GED
- KSAs - Communication / Critical Thinking Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others. - Ability to deal with multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
