The Endoscopy Technician 3 will prepare and maintain the medical facility's instruments, equipment, and sterile environments necessary for procedures.

Shift: Day
Schedule - Full-Time
- Must be available 10 hours per day at 4 Shifts per week.
- This role covers three areas in endo
- Must be available anywhere between the hours of 7:00AM to 6:00PM
- Weekend and Night On-Call
- 1 Week-night Per Month
- ! Week-end Every Two Months

Job Responsibilities

- Inclusive of the duties and responsibilities of Endo Tech 1 and 2.
- Documents evidence of at least 12 hours of self-development activities.
- Recognizes safety hazards and initiates appropriate preventative and corrective actions.
- Demonstrates superior knowledge in stressful and emergency situations.
- Assists with the flow of daily operations by readily accepting assignments/reassignments.
- Demonstrates awareness of and commitment to professional and leadership responsibilities within the department.
- Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot specialty equipment.
- Provides superior knowledge of basic and all advanced endoscopy procedures, devices and equipment.
- Primary preceptor for new & experienced staff.
- Presents and organizes educational sessions within the Endoscopy department.
- Supports and participates in departmental goals, educational programs and quality projects to improve outcomes.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements

Certification - Basic Life Support upon start from AHA
- Experience - 2 years as an Endoscopy Technician
- Education - High School or equivalent; Associates Degree; The Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates - Advanced Associates Program Completion
