This is a full time (.9 FTE) position as a Unit Supervisor with the Stem Cell Transplant team at Inova Schar Institute.
The Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor serves as a front line leader who is accountable for delivering highly reliable results related to quality and best practices to improve the clinical operations of the unit. Embraces, uses and understands the research behind nursing practice and quality tools. Supports unit based shared governance and decentralized decision making structures and processes. Acts as a role model who leads by example in delivering "Service Always" and in making patient experience a priority on units of responsibility. The Stem Cell Transplant Infusion Clinic will soon be open 7 days per week! Schedule is 7am - 7pm.
- 2 years inpatient or outpatient hematology/oncology experience highly preferred.

Requirements
Certification - Basic Life Support; Specialty certification (as required by unit) within 12 months of hire;
- Completion of a revised Charge Nurse workshop within 3 months of hire
- Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Education - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or Associate's Degree RN within 1 year of completing their
- BSN)
