Our Tower OR Unit is seeking a Surgical Technologist 3 to join it's high acuity, fast paced, multispecialty operating room team! As Northern Virginia’s only Level 1 Trauma facility, our diverse teammates and complex patient population makes working in Tower OR exciting, with endless opportunities for professional and personal growth! This is a full-time day shift role.

Job Responsibilities:
- The Surgical Technologist 3 demonstrates superior knowledge of aseptic and surgical techniques in the role of the first scrub.
- Anticipates variances from expected outcomes and responds to patient needs immediately.
- Demonstrates leadership abilities.
- Recognizes safety hazards and initiates appropriate preventative and corrective actions.
- Anticipates the need for unscheduled procedures or unanticipated turn of events during a surgical procedure.
- Demonstrates superior knowledge in stressful and emergency situations.
- Assists with the flow of the daily operating room schedule by readily accepting assignments/reassignments.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program preferred
- 2 years experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Surgical Technologist registration required - Must be eligible for Surgical Technologist registration via Commonwealth of Virginia at time of hire. Registration must be completed within 6 months of hire.

- BLS via AHA required
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) via NCCT
