Description

Care for laboring mom, assist with delivery, and immediate care of newborn and post-delivery care for mom.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.- Computerized system-Meditech. Fetal monitoring system - GE/Centricity
Required skills and minimum years of experience. - Labor and delivery skills with a minimum of 3 years.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. - BLS & NRP (REQUIRED) STABLE & Advance FM (RECOMMENDED)
Shift or schedule requirements- Variable - Day and Night shifts possible - 12 Hour shifts (36 hours weekly) following the first week of orientation. Scheduled 12 hours call at least once/month. No guarantee of hours or shift preference.
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.- L&D 8 Labor Beds; Postpartum 18 Beds
Kahu Malama Nurses Job ID #242. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
