Shift: Variable E/N 3p-11:30p, 7p-7:30a, 11p-7:30a, 8's & 12's, 40/36hrs per weekLength: 13 weeks
1 shift on call per 6 weeksHoliday and weekend rotation
Requirements:

• WI License
• 2 years minimum as staff therapist
• Electronic Documentation required
• Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) accredited School for Respiratory Care
• Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital
• RRT credentialed by National Board for Respiratory Care required
• Trauma Level I Experience required
• Trauma Level II Experience required
• AHA BLS
• Prior traveler experience highly preferred
• Teaching Hospital Experience preferred

• Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location
• Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to:• Work with an inter-disciplinary team to ensure high quality patient care.• Provide aerosolized medication, volume expansion, airway clearance techniques, tracheostomy cares and sputum inductions to patients.• Work with non-invasive ventilation, high flow and mechanical ventilation at IMC and ICU level• Collaborate with physicians, care team leaders, staff nurses, other caregiving disciplines, and patients/families to develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care for each patient.

Experience:• Two years minimum as staff therapist• Pediatric and adult experience preferred• Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.• Prior traveler experience highly preferred
Education:• Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) accredited School for Respiratory CareLicensure and Certification:• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in State of Wisconsin required• RRT credentialed by National Board for Respiratory Care required• BLS – must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY
