Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

Shift: Days / 7a-5p, 10x4, 40 hrs  per week, EOW unless otherwise specified

Length: 12 weeks

Call : In rotation. Call is roughly 7 days in a 1 month period

Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists; experience with 2D/3D Echo, Bubble study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Contrast agents, Pharmacologic Stress Echos, TEE & Treadmill Stress Echos

Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
