Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Certified Surgical Technologist - CVOR

Shift: Variable Days / 6:45a-5:15p, 7:30a-6p, 9a-7:30p, 10x4, 40 hrs per week, Must be available to cover call on holiday/holiday weekends

Length: 13 weeks

1 weekend month – Cardiac, cardiac transplant and/or Endo vascular call 7:00p Fri – 645a Mon 30 min response time when on call 2 hr CVI short call shifts / 515-715p or 6p-8p CVI call / one night a week 7:00p or 7:30p – 6:45a/7a (cardiac / cardiac transplant and/ or endovascular)

Requirements:

• 2+ years related work experience
• Must have Valve replacement experience
• Cardiac surgery and cardiac transplant surgery
• Open vascular/ endovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, thoracic robotics & general surgery
• AHA BLS
• NBSTSA 
• National Certification
• Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred

Other Details:

• If candidate worked a surg tech prior to 7/1/2012, no cert is required or formal education required. If candidate worked as a surg tech after 7/1/2012 cert and formal education required- facility can determine whether or not candidate is required to adhere to state guidelines
• NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility)
• COVID vaccine required+ booster - Medical exemption acceptable 
• Flu vaccine required - medical exemptions are acceptable
