Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Mammography Tech
Shift: Days, 8a-4:30p, 8x5, 40hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- TX License
- 2 Years Experience
- Digital required
- 3D required
- Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography
- Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited school.
- ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible
- Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT
- BLS
- 2 years of experience in Mammography preferred
- Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software and eRad is preferred
- Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred
- Prior quality control experience preferred

- Will accept less than 2 years experience and 1st time travelers
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology;
- Ability to stand for long periods of time

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. This position is critical to Washington Radiology; by providing outstanding care and efficient results, the technologist impacts the profitability of the organization as well as the patient experience.
Mammography Skills / Procedures / Experience:
Digital - Required
3D - Required
Two years of experience in Mammography preferred
*Will accept less than 2 years experience and 1st time travelers.
Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software and eRad is preferred;
Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred;
Prior quality control experience preferred;
Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology;
Ability to stand for long periods of time
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
BLS
Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography;
ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible;
Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT;
Must possess non-restricted licensure in state work location; New applicants: ETA 6-8 weeks for license.
Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited school.
*Will accept 1 year experience and 1st time travelers.
