Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - RRT 48's Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x4, 48 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend shifts per contract: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week periodMust be available to work 2 out of 3 holidays Requirements: 

• CA license
• 2 years’ of recent pediatric ICU experience from a children’s hospital
• Experience must be from a dedicated children's facility, not a general or adult facility with experience from a peds unit
• Strong pediatric ICU skill set; therapists who can jump in and work across at least 2 of the 3 ICUs including a Level IV NICU, Level I PICU, and/or the Cardiothoracic ICU
• Experience with trachs and vents, suctioning, and oxygen. No specialty or blood gases needed
• AHA BLS
• AHA PALS
• AHA NRP-  Must be Advanced; Essential no longer accepted. Must have in hand or registered for an Advanced class in which they will have in hand 
• RRT national credential required
• RRT-NPS preferred
• Electronic Documentation  preferred

Other Details:

• Patient Population: Pediatric care from acute care on the floors, pulmonary floor (treating pts with asthma, bronchiolitis, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, cystic fibrosis, tracheostomy-ventilated support), trauma, Medical (treating pts with bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia), PICU (treating mostly intubated pts and therapies including specialty gases heliox/iNO), NICU and CTICU where heart transplants are performed. High acuity Level 4 NICU. High acuity patients on floors
• Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - No Exemptions

Requirements:• California RCP License in hand• RRT national credential required; RRT-NPS preferred• 2 years’ of recent pediatric ICU experience from a children’s hospital• Experience with trachs and vents, suctioning, and oxygen. No specialty or blood gases needed.• BLS (AHA)• PALS (AHA)• NRP (AHA) - Must be Advanced; Essential no longer accepted. Must have in hand or registered for an Advanced class in which they will have in hand prior to start date.• Flu shot required
Schedule Information:• 4x12 Nights• Weekend shifts per contract: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period. It will be 2 full weekends in a 4-week schedule block. Scheduling blocks are 4 weeks long. They try to schedule staff and travelers every other weekend off, if possible, but not guaranteed. Day shift weekends are considered Saturdays and Sundays
RTO: 6 days max. All RTO required up front, no exceptions*Must be available to work 2 out of 3 holidays
