Shift: Nights / 6p-6:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, EOW, on-call 

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • IL license
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Special Requirements: Required Work Setting Experience: Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department
  • Required Airway Management Devices/Suctioning Skills/Experience: Endrotracheal tube/suctioning, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning
  • Required Nebulizer Skills/Experience: Hand held, T-Piece, Trach collar
  • Required Oxygen therapy Skills/Experience: Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) , T-Piece, Trach Collar, Venturi Masks
  • Required Ventilator Management Skills/Experience: BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilatio
  • Teaching Hospital Experience
  • Community Hospital Experience
  • BLS
  • RRT
  • Cerner experience required
  • Trauma Level I and II Experience preferred

Position / Specialty: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - will also accept CRT for this role.
Shift: 3x12 Nights (1)
Ratios/Daily Caseload:
Years of experience REQ: Minimum 1 year experience required.
First-timers accepted: Yes.
Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend.
Certs REQ: BLS and RRT required.
Is on-call REQ? Required as needed for the department.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float if needed.
Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.
Must have active IL license in hand to apply.
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.
