Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - CT Tech

Shift: Nights, 6p-6:30a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, Weekdays & Sat/Sun, every other weekend, holidays as assigned

Length: 20 weeks

Call: Every 11th weekend

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience
• Will review travelers with 1.5 years is strong Level I/large hospital experience
• Required some education and training to be allowed to practice (usually national credentials)
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Experience with GE and/or Toshiba/Cannon equipment
• Registered with ARRT
• BLS
• Large hospital/Trauma Level I/II experience preferred

• Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the most central facility
• Travelers are first to float

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (4044):•2 years of experience (will review travelers with 1.5yrs is strong Level I/large hospital experience)•Large hospital/Trauma Level I/II experience preferred•Graduate of an accredited radiography program•OH State License required, pending license is accepted•Registered with ARRT•BLS•Experience with GE and/or Toshiba/Cannon equipment
SUMMARY and PURPOSE OF POSITION:Performs and completes diagnostic procedures and follows guidelines set by Grant/Riverside and Radiologic Association. This position prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following guidelines set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics. Provides radiation safety for operator and patient. Places patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine.
Specs:Charcoal grey scrubs, EPIC EMR. GE CT equipment presently in use GE and Toshiba/Cannon.Typical volume or census for dept. 270-290 scans per day.
