Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Mammography Tech

Shift: Days, 8:30a-5p, 8x4, 32hrs per week, Mon/Tue/Wed/Fri

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in Mammography required with documentation of clinical experience, digital and 3D.
• Digital experience required
• 3D experience required
• Must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique
• Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography
• Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited school.
• ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible
• Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT
• BLS
• Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software and eRad is preferred
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred
• Prior quality control experience preferred
• Associates degree preferred

Shift: 830a-500p- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m
The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. This position is critical to Solis Mammography; by providing outstanding care and efficient results, the technologist impacts the profitability of the organization as well as the patient experience.
Mammography Skills / Procedures / Experience:Digital - Required3D - RequiredTwo years of experience in Mammography required with documentation of clinical experience, digital and 3D.
Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software and eRad is preferred;Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred;Prior quality control experience preferred;Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology;Ability to stand for long periods of time
