Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Nuclear Medicine Tech
Shift: Days / 7:30a-4p (8x5) 40 hours per week, Mon-FriLength: 13 weeks
Will be expected to be in backup call rotationRequirements:

• 1 year experience preferred
• BLS
• ARRT CT
• Experience with HIDA scans
• Required some education and training to be allowed to practice (usually national credentials

HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 yearPATIENT POPULATION: Nuclear Med TechEQUIPMENT: GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens & ToshibaREQUIRED SKILLS: BLS, ARRT, experience with HIDA scans, Bone scans including 3 phase, limited and whole body, Lung scans (DTPA Aerosol, perfusion, and ventilation), Thyroid studies (Cancer survey, I-123 Uptake scan, Pharmacological/Thallium stress test, IV starts and maintance, and storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materialsUnit: 71800 Radiology Nucleaer Med Tech
