Description
Administering medications and treatments prescribed by physicians and monitoring patients for adverse reactions or side effects.
Monitoring patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate, and reporting any significant changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
Assisting with patient hygiene, such as bathing and dressing, and helping patients with activities of daily living.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate medical records.
Educating patients and their families about disease prevention, health promotion, and the management of chronic health conditions.
Providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Adhering to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
