Description

Preparing the delivery room by ensuring that all necessary equipment, supplies, and instruments are available and in good working condition.
Assisting with the delivery of babies, including vaginal deliveries and caesarean sections.
Monitoring fetal heart rate and reporting any significant changes to the supervising physician or registered nurse.
Providing emotional support to mothers and their families during labor and delivery.
Performing basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws and urinalysis.
Assisting with the preparation and application of sterile dressings and bandages.
Documenting procedures and maintaining accurate records of supplies and equipment used.
Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment after use.
Adhering to ethical and legal standards of medical practice.
