Job Details

Location: Paducah, KY
Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: March 31, 2025
Shift: Day Shift - 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Job Requirements

Minimum 4 years of ICU experience required (open to discussion for those with less)
Preferred 2 years of travel nursing experience
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Dysrhythmia exam required

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in a 13-bed ICU unit
Manage cardiac and critical care drips
Care for patients with central lines, chest tubes, wound vacs, and ventilators
Collaborate with PCA support and HUC staff
Ensure all oxygen needs are met for patients

I had the pleasure of working with Sarah and she was extremely helpful from the begining. She was constantly checking up on me and made the whole onboarding procedure as easy as possible. I had some trouble finding a contract because I had less than 2 years experience as an RN but Sarah did not give up. I am now going on my second contract with GHR and i'm loving it.
