Key Responsibilities of the Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist
As a Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will:

Perform Procedures: Assist in vascular interventional procedures, including angiograms, stent placements, embolizations, thrombolysis, and biopsies.
Patient Preparation: Comfort patients and provide clear instructions to ensure they understand and are at ease with the procedure.
Operate Imaging Equipment: Utilise advanced imaging technology to capture accurate diagnostic images.
Administer Contrast Agents: Safely administer contrast materials as per established protocols.
Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other staff to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain Documentation: Keep detailed records of procedures, including patient data and imaging results.
Ensure Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and hospital regulations to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Stay Current: Participate in professional development to keep up with the latest advancements in interventional radiology.
Qualifications Required:
To qualify for this role, you must have:

BLS Certification (required)
ARRT Certification (required)
NYS License (required)
2+ years of experience as a Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist
