Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist
Performing Procedures: Conduct CT scans, position patients properly, and adjust equipment settings to ensure safety and comfort.
Patient Interaction: Collect and verify patient information, explain procedures, and address any questions or concerns.
Operating Equipment: Use CT scanners and tools like power injectors to capture detailed, high-quality diagnostic images.
Collaboration: Work with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to tailor imaging protocols for the best outcomes.
Quality Assurance: Review and ensure image accuracy, correcting any artifacts or technical issues as needed.
Results Evaluation: Determine the need for additional imaging and consult with radiologists for accurate diagnosis.
Documentation: Maintain precise records of each procedure, including imaging parameters and any incidents.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a sterile and safe work environment.
Professional Growth: Stay current with advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques.
Requirements for the CT Technologist Role
BLS Certification (required).
ARRT Certification (required).
2+ years of experience as a CT Technologist.
GA License
