Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist
Image Acquisition: Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Patient Preparation: Ensure patients are comfortable, informed, and properly positioned for imaging.
Safety Standards: Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure to radiation or magnetic fields.
Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and timely diagnosis.
Record Management: Maintain accurate records and documentation of imaging procedures.
Requirements for the MRI Technologist Role
BLS Certification (required).
ARRT Certification (required).
2+ years of experience in MRI imaging or a similar role.
