Job Summary and Qualifications

Licenses/Certificates: Current license with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners or compact license; Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS for the successful completion of Basic Life Support (CPR) within one week of hire date. Completion of Neonatal Resuscitation, Basic Fetal Monitoring Course, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days. Advanced fetal monitoring within one year and repeated at least every two years. Certification or eligibility to test in Inpatient Obstetrics and Fetal Monitoring within two years of employment date.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current license with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners or compact license

• Advanced fetal monitoring within one year and repeated at least every two years
• Certification or eligibility to test in Inpatient Obstetrics and Fetal Monitoring within two years of employment date
• Graduate of a School of Professional Nursing
• One year of Labor and Delivery experience is preferred
• ADN required, BSN strongly preferred
