Many visitors come to Tupelo to tour the home where Elvis was born, the city's most significant landmark and the centerpiece of Elvis Presley Park. Visitors can learn more about the history of Tupelo at the Oren Dunn City Museum in Ballard Park. Colorful murals fill the downtown streets, and its unique culinary scene features lots of fresh, local food. It also has a long tradition of live music, with many venues for enjoying it, like Tupelo Music Hall, which frequently hosts nationally known musicians.
