BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Medical Lab Technician (MLT) II for our Missouri Baptist Medical Center

 Position Details:

• Overnight / Night Shift; 3 12-hour shifts (6:30pm - 7am)  - with Weekend/ Holiday Rotation  
• Full-Time - 36 Hours per Week
• Benefits Eligible

Experience:

• Previous work in a clinical / hospital laboratory (preferred)

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Physical/Life Sciences or related field
• ASCP, AMT,AAB or equiv registered

Role Purpose

The Medical Lab Technician (MLT) II (REG) performs specimen processing and routine / complex testing on blood and other specimens which requires a knowledge and understanding of quality control, basic instrument maintenance, and procedure methodologies and reference ranges. Maintains appropriate documentation of all activities as required. Demonstrates good laboratory practice
