Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and an Emergency Room (ER) Physician, the Paramedic - ED/Ambulatory provides patient care support services, in compliance with Hospital and Patient Care Services policies and protocols for ER Triage in the Emergency Department.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine equipment function tests and calibrations.
- Supports and assists with the delivery of patient care.
- Performs invasive procedures, as directed by the RN or Physician.
- Assists with the maintenance and cleaning of patient care equipment.
- Assists with the inventory of supplies and equipment ensuring adequate supply levels.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or GED

- 2-5 years
