The Operating Room at Christian Hospital is searching for a full-time position for RN for First Assistant to assist Providers during procedures. See additional information below for your reference.
- 8 hrs shift Mon- Fri. (7am - 3:30pm)
- Call Schedule
- 4th-6th weekend (Pending Staffing)
- 1 overnight weekly
- Call response time 45min
- Call Schedule
- Sign-on bonus up to $15,000

Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.
Contracted services providing assistance to the Surgeon in the Operating Room. Part of the Surgical team the Surgical Assistant has accepted responsibilities to work as a team member in the operating room.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Performs an expanded perioperative role as a first assistant to surgeons during surgical procedures in the operating room. RNFA works alongside the surgeon to provide direct patient care. Works as a professional colleague with the perioperative team and collaborates with the patient-designated support person, and other health care providers when making decisions to plan care.
