Description

TRA Ultrasound Technologist

TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to an outside agency.

TRA Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer performs all General Ultrasound Imaging exams utilizing proper technique, processes correctly marked images, calibrates and operates ultrasound equipment, completes computerized tracking and supply charges, and assists Radiologist during invasive exams. Performs equipment quality control, transporting of patients and room set up and clean up. Available for on call as required by department and performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited school of diagnostic sonography

PREFERRED EDUCTION
Associates Degree

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
2 years as an Ultrasound Tech

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE
- State License (If Required)
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Songography (ARDMS)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography
- CPR-Basic Life Support – American Heart Association
