TRA Sonographer

TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to an outside agency.

The Sonographer, under minimal supervision, performs imaging exams utilizing proper technique, processes correctly marked images, calibrates and operates ultrasound equipment, completes computerized tracking and supply charges, and assists Radiologist during invasive exams. Performs equipment quality control, transporting of patients and room set up and clean up. Available for on call as required by department and performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM EDUCATION
Graduate of Accredited School of Diagnastic Sonography.

PREFERRED EDUCTION
Associates Degree

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
2 years in an Acute Care Setting

- State License (If Required)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- CPR-Basic Life Support – American Heart Association
