Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Assess, plan, or implement fitness programs that include exercise or physical activities such as those designed to improve cardiorespiratory function, body composition, muscular strength, muscular endurance, or flexibility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- M aster of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology and/or other Allied Health related degree required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification) required within six months of hire
- CPR / BLS certificate for Health Care Providers required
- A minimum of 6 months clinical cardiovascular experience or equivalent internship.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- A CSM (American College of Sports Medicine) Exercise Specialist Certification desired
- Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) or AACVPR (American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (CCRP)
- Certified Cardiac Rehab Professional desired
