Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
As a Physical Therapist within the Penn State Health System, you will have the opportunity to work in an academic medical setting alongside a team of seasoned therapists with expertise in critical care, neuro, vestibular, orthopedic, medical, and surgical interventions in adult, geriatric, and pediatric populations. You will be a key member of a team of professionals that includes but is not limited to nursing, physician, respiratory therapy that is focused on addressing the immediate needs of our adult and pediatric patients admitted for acute and/or critical care needs. Experience in or a strong interest in learning and caring for pediatric patients is preferred. Recent graduates who have a passion for working in an acute/critical care environment with a strong desire for learning and development will be considered.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from a CAPTE certified program and completion of clinical rotations required.
- Must hold a PA license (or eligibility) in physical therapy.
