Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Level II Electrophysiology Technologist is responsible for assisting the physician(s) with all diagnostic and complex interventional adult Electrophysiology procedures. Primary clinical roles include scrubbing, circulating and monitoring/recording.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- The Level II Electrophysiology Technologist will possess either:

- A minimum of two (2) years full-time work experience in Cardiac Electrophysiology laboratory, or
- Five (5) years in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization laboratory.
- Current RCES certification or must obtain RCES certification within two (2) years from date of hire.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required or must obtain within six (6) months from date of hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- Graduate of an associate or higher academic program in related health science preferred.
