Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION :
Responsible for independently implementing nutritional care to patients within established standards of practice.
Create individual meal plans, including assessment, goals and plan of care to eating disorder patients.
Provide appropriate nutrition education and counseling based upon patient/family learning needs and abilities.
Plan and lead nutrition education groups, including baking group to patients/parents.
Supervision of meal times
Provide nutrition education to guide parents and caregivers.
Order and purchase food and nutrition group materials, as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree required.
1 year of experience required.
Registered Dietitian (or Registry Eligible) required (Commission on Dietetics Registration).
Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (Pennsylvania) or eligible for licensure required.
