POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing direction and leadership to the IT/Technology Management (TM) and ENTECH departments, including developing, evaluating, and managing technology management/ENTECH personnel and operations to contribute to the overall success of the system. This position works with system, facility, department administration, and outside customers providing leadership, knowledge, and tools for reviewing acquisitions, ongoing support processes, and improvement opportunities in the life cycle costs of medical technology.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Provide leadership, management and guidance to Technology Management (TM) facility(s) based team(s). Ensure compliance with strategic vision, and priorities while seeking opportunities for efficiency. Identify high-value talent within team to develop succession planning and manage talent acquisition, assignments, and performance. Demonstrate leadership qualities that foster a collaborative environment for continuous improvement and development as well as continually supporting and exhibiting company core values and service standards. Establish and maintain a culture of customer responsiveness throughout the team.

2. Develops and oversees the facility(s) clinical technology management budget in conjunction with corporate goals and objectives. Plays a direct and key role in ensuring budgetary goals are met on an annual basis. Translates organizational plans, goals and initiatives into annual operating and capital budgets. Works with facility/business entity leadership to ensure clinical technology budgetary projections include planned projects and infrastructure needs. Manages and reports departmental expenditures and projects expenses.

3. Participates and may lead in task forces and councils. This includes participating in the development and implementation of processes, procedures, and programs to increase facility operations equipment safety, efficiency and effectiveness, as well as ensure the delivery of quality customer care. This may include planning and developing detailed specifications for assignments, assessing the quality of delivered services, and implementing quality improvement action plans.

4. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

5. Engages staff and facility/business entity leaders to support and deliver clinical technology applications and services. Collaborates with business leaders and senior IT/TM leaders to identify operational requirements and opportunities related to information technology services and applications. Communicates facility goals to IT/TM leadership in order to address the needs of facility operations.

6. Markets and promotes the sale of TM/ENECH services outside customers. Supervises and provides staffing support to those customers/services as needed to enhance outside business profitability.

7. Assures collaborative support to Telehealth Remote Operations Center, Integrated Clinical Technology, Development and Construction, Supply Chain and other system teams to deliver cost effective service excellence. Collaborate with TM Project Team leadership, consultants and specialists to prioritize and implement capital improvement projects, capital infrastructure planning, and influence design standards based on operational learnings and team feedback.

8. This position provides direction and oversight for all I/T Technology Management service activities across multiple facilities as assigned. The incumbent is a member of the I/T Technology Management leadership team and participates in meetings, presentations, visioning sessions, strategic and tactical planning sessions, implementation activities, and support functions in multiple locations, This position works collaboratively with other I/T leaders and staff, as well as corporate and facility/business entity leadership. This position is a key liaison to leadership at the locations it supports.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess a strong knowledge of business administration and/or engineering as typically obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, technology or a related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Required minimum of five years progressively more responsible Leadership experience in all phases of medical equipment to coordinate activities of the technical staff. Proven ability to manage complex large-scale project/system implementations required. Must possess the ability to apply quantitative and qualitative process improvement techniques and performed advanced data analysis. Must have a strong working knowledge of PC/LAN and data communication skills, DICOM and HL7 data protocols. Must also possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels within the organization, as well as external customers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


A strong knowledge and background in medical technology operations as typically achieved through seven to ten years of progressively responsible experience in medical technology operations and program development is preferred.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

Great people to work with and travelers come back regularly. Will see a lot of prisoners the state prison(Prisontown USA, look it up). If you're not used to being in a secluded small town working in a hospital with limited resources, you should look elsewhere. Can be busy for the size at times but not too bad. I would go back if a contract came back up.
