40Summary:
The Pharmacy Supervisor will provide professional pharmaceutical services to the patients and staff of Cook Children’s Medical Center and the community that we serve with safety in mind. This position is responsible for the supervision and technical/clinical direction to pharmacist and non-pharmacist employees in an Inpatient Pharmacy or Satellite setting. Ensure compliance with State & Federal laws, regulations, and standards regarding the provision of pharmaceutical services, and pharmacy objectives, policies and procedures. Additionally, the Pharmacy Supervisor will assist the Pharmacy Director with the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and the day-to-day operations of assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Bachelors degree required, PharmD preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy experience in a hospital or an administrative residency
- Previous experience in pediatric pharmacy practice is essential
- Good understanding and working knowledge of Epic is preferred
