40Summary:
The Pharmacy Operations Manager assists the Pharmacy Director in management and supervision of all operational activities of the Central Pharmacy Services through supervision of pharmacists and supportive staff. The Operations Manager interfaces with other healthcare professionals to create, implement, and monitor workflow policies, practices, and services. This position is responsible for assuring that quality distributive and pharmaceutical practices are provided by a competent staff and also directly provides patient care as necessary. The Operations Manager represents the department of pharmacy through collaboration with multidisciplinary committees, teams and individuals in order to continuously improve the use of medications in the Cook system.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy, Pharm.D preferred
Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy experience or a successful completion of a specialty residency
Texas Pharmacist License or eligible
