12Summary:
The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats, providing family oriented services to the home health patient with oral-motor and/or communication disorders secondary to developmental delays, neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardio-pulmonary impairments; as well as traumatic injuries and swallowing disorders. This includes patient and caregiver education; discharge planning; and consultation to other professionals, clinics, or agencies.
Education and Experience:
Masters degree in speech/language pathology or communication disorders or related
Pediatric experience preferred
Certification/Licensure:
CPR certification
State license or eligible for state licensure
Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech/Language Pathology, or eligible for application upon completion of Clinical Fellowship Year and must be obtained within 12 months of hire to maintain employment at Cook
Current Texas driver license in good standing
